Hey guys, just wanted to say hello. I am extremely excited to bring back Dollwar with Angie! I have been wanting to bring it back for so long and now we finally have the perfect opportunity with the right people. This will be the official blog where we will update our loyal fans about the progress of the new Dollwar. At this time we are working on getting some new dolls designed and a document for the gameplay and flow of Dollwar. If you have anything you would like to see in the new Dollwar, please post your ideas here! =)

I loved on the first doll war when you used to be able to design clothes with the templates provided. I hated the new doll war where you where free to make whatever you wanted. In the first doll war you could tell who had the money with their templated skirts/dresses etc, and they were the people everyone wanted to be. I missed that.

I think it would be nice if we could create our own clothes, I dont mean just something on here where shapes and stuff are provided, it would be really cool if you could create your own totally unique design, theres this game I play that has something like that and I have so much fun doing it
I also think there should be male characters added!! that is a MUST DO thing. It would be awesome if you could even sell your items you make or just any item you have, say you bought something a long time ago and you dont like it anymore so you can set a price to sell it for, at the original price or lower.
Pets would be nice.
Hot or Not game
Somewhere that people can write a message that will show to EVERYONE on Dollwar, kinda like a forum, but somewhere on the page, Like, you have somewhere to type it in and then send it and it will go across a bar at the top of the dollwar page, or even a special page where it will show what people are saying and you can write your own stuff.
Be able to have a display picture, either of ur doll, or from your computer.
and to be honest, its been such a long time since I have played the game, I forget what it used to have.

Your own room that you can put furniture in. You should make everyone have a homepage with things like a wishlist, so items you saw in the shop you really wanted but you cannot afford, maybe someone nice will buy it for you. I think there should be fashion battles with virtual money stakes. Jobs would be really really awesome, so we can make money easier
Maybe there should be a daily amount you get only if you log on. Maybe you should have something where if u log on 1 day you will get 50 dollars, 2 days, 100 dolls, 3 days 200 dollars, 4 days, 400 dollars, 5 days 800 dollars, and after the 5th log on everytime after that you should recive money again, Eg. 6th day 800 dollars, 7th day 800 dolllars. If you dont log on for a day, it will set back to 50 dollars and then you can start the proccess over again.

I absolutely hate it on games when they have VIP that you can buy or stuff like that, and then all the good stuff they make it for VIP, or stuff like that. Its hard for people to afford life these days, let alone spending real money on virtual money or silly things like VIP for a video game. Im not saying to take out the option to buy virtual money on the game, maybe just not to have VIP or make VIP and normal people more equal.

Oh goodie! I was so excited hearing Dollwar’s back
It was kind of my childhood, since I was 9 when I played it 
But I do remember, there was a sort of bingo game, where you bought a card and got a chance to win fame, or style, or just lots of money (etc). I wasn’t too lucky, but winning was a great experience
And I also remembered there were 3 or 4 games that earned you money. But you could only play them once a day, and there were so little of those! I found it hard to earn whenever I didn’t do good in a game! 
And I think a doll home and a shop would be a nice touch… the guilds! I loved diva chix, and the old dollwar, I wanna love this one even better :X I’d really love it if we could get more in touch with the other users, like having friends and getting to post on their profile page! 
I missed that a lot. AND I MISS DOLLWAR! Please come back alreadyyyy

I know this one game that would maybe give you good ideas for Dollwar, its a game you have to download but its a good game, since Dollwar closed down, I started to play that game, its a dress up game like dollwar but its 3D and stuff. Could we have boyfriends??? that we can go out to the club or something to try to get one, and you can dress him up and everything and he gives you money
Cause thats what good boyfriends do, haha. Maybe Levels? And the higher level you achieve the better boyfriends you can get or something.
Maybe a beauty salon, where you can pay to change your skin tone, your hair and customize your makeup.
Possibly something where u can get Plastic surgery or breast implants to give you Attitude but then again sometimes this encourages these kinda things in younger children.
Being able to feed your doll and give them drinks in order to keep them alive, and if they die you have to pay to save them, and if your a lower level then its either free or a lot less.
Goals? If you complete them you level up or gain money or attitude, the higher the level the bigger. reward

I have so many ideas
If only I could help more haha, im good at making textures for clothing and stuff like that haha, but my ideas should be enough. This is another reason why I would really like to have your own shop that you can create your own clothes, maybe the colours and shading on it + the shape of the shirt?
Maybe you can have it set up so that some people can make it on the site and have shapes and different kinds of tops, dresses, shoes, accessories, ect ect that ppl can make, and then for more advanced users they can download their own textures and the shirt shape, this would be lots of fun to do and would keep ppl busy forever, it would be kinda hard to set it up tho I think
But I really like this idea.

Ashley, thats not very nice. Im sure everyone would like to be part of staff, I would like to be part of it to, but only because I have stuff I can contribute, I could actually help them create the clothes, hair, eyes, so many things. But im sure they have all the help they need, afterall, the site is coming back right?? So they must have all they need, or else it wouldnt be coming back yet
And im really excited for this to come back after my best friend on this other game was banned for absolutely no reason… Im ganna make her play this game haha.

I like the simplicity of the past Dollwar; a similar site to this one has gotten way too complicated.
I think there should be a group battle instead of just the normal one on one, that should make the gameplay more interesting in my opinion.
It would also be cool if we could see a battle and bet on who will win. I know it may sound harsh betting on who will win, but I think it would be benificial to the voters. The users who bet on the winner should each earn some money from the users who lost the bet.
There should also be a fashion competition. For example, users will have an item that they all must use like a leopard print dress. They all must wear the dress, but they can use different items to create an outfit. Kind of like those “Who wore it better” sections in the magazines.
I think there should also be a one minute battle. The users have one minute to look through the selection of clothes and make an outfit, and the winner (chosen by voters) should get to keep the outfit they made.
There was also a request thread on how people can improve upon other people’s outfits. It would be awesome if we could make this into a battle that voters can vote on. For example, the asker who wants a new outfit can name their budget and colours and other critical information, and the contestants will come up with an outfit matching the criteria of the asker. This way, the voters can vote on who did the best job on following the asker’s criteria. This benifits the contestants and the asker.
There should also be exclusive items, where competitions could be held, and the winner will win the exclusive item.
I know my ideas may seem a bit odd, but I would love to see this on the next generation Dollwar! After all it is a WAR and all about battling against one another.
Btw: Is there any info you can release about what we can expect from the next generation Dollwar?

Additionally, it would be amazing to see a collection battle, where voters can vote on two players collection of outfits. For example, it will show the 5 outfits of one player, and it will show 5 outfits of another player, and voters will have to score each outfit out of 10. The user with the highest score should win, and the amount should depend on their score. This would be helpful in deciding whether or not to change the way you’ve been dressing your doll.
It would be great to earn coupons while voting. Sometimes I get discouraged when voting, and kowing you can get coupons while voting might help encourage voting. For example you can get a coupon that will give you 10 % off your next purchase or something like that.

I have a good idea for DW that isn’t like DC. DC is basically the same thing a the past DW was so maybe if you could add a feature to allow that accounts to have designed boyfriends. I know of a site that does this and I think it’s a great feature to have.

When DW was first taken down I read a lot of things about why it happened, which led to DC being created.
Then I read that Angie was working with Aaron to bring back DW which confused me because it does not go with why DW stopped in the first place. (According to what I read)
Alot of the ideas which people have suggested have been good but whilst reading them most of them I have noticed have already been added to DC.
I used to play DW a lot when I was younger and have only recently started playing DC and I love how similar it is to the original DW just with new things added to it.
When DW is back up and running I will check it out but i really hope that it will be completely different to DC otherwise there isnt much point to it, and I hope the same stuff doesnt happen with the old DW such as “upgrades” which never happened.

When I was like 8 my stepsister introduced me to dollwar, what got me hooked was how complex yet simple it was. As many of you I was saddened when the site shut down.
I have been reading many of your comments and what I find is that the suggestions are resembling other sites that are up and running, to me the only reason dollwar was so great was that it had its own ‘thing’.
What I would like to see returned is the CYO function where one got a template and designed it on the site.

Now, people, don’t be selfish. Saying to completely get rid of dollwar’s VIP and some of the other stuff is selfish because thats what keeps the site running. If we wan’t a great quality doll war, they need to have some thinga cost money.

Also, not to try to make everyone mad, but I don’t like the boyfriend idea lol. The only reason dollwar was different was because it was really only all girls (with guys who’d make a girl account xD). Putting in boyfriends is too main stream. My Suggestions for the new Dollwar:
1. Have users change the color of Dollwar. For example, I want to change Dollwar into blue, then From Purple it will become Blue.
2. Have the “work” thingy so we will earn money not just on games but on our work.
3. Have items differentiate for various ages. For example, I am 13 years old and I don`t want to have a fairy costume or any thing that kids have. But instead, I want to have that Prom Dress.
4. A substitute for the suggestion on number 3. There would be a “check box” and you will check the things you dont want to see especially when its flooding. For example, The following will be the choices;
New Arrivals
On Sale
HOT
Fiction (includes fairies and Disney princesses)
Non-Fiction (include the dresses of Queen Elizabeth and now Catherine Middleton)
Dresses
Gowns
Skirts
Shirts
Pants
Shorts
Undergarments
Swimsuits
Pumps
Mary Janes
Stilettos
Flats
Ballet Flats
No – Heeled Pumps (minimum of 5 inches in real life!)
Wedges
Rubber Shoes

Handbags
Backpacks
Shoulder Bags
etc.,
5. I agree with Sheila there must be no VIP but instead in order to get that thing she must fulfill a specific requirement and if she doubled the requirement, she will get it for 50% off. For example, I want to buy a pair of boots, And there is a requirement saying log on at least 2 days tomorrow I log on again then next 2 days I log on again. I get my boots for 50% off.
6. I can stand advertisements but PLEASE do not put too much advertisement. Especially the Pop outs and the ones expand and the sounds.
7. Put a “music box” For the users to enjoy the kinds of music they like.
8. Boys are allowed but there are limits and also us girls. Boys are not allowed to enter the girl`s shopping thing and girls are also not allowed to see the boy`s.
9. Put Makeups on the shopping list.
10. Substitute for number 5 Users have to buy premium monetary in order to buy items the price will be
multiplied by 5 if they want to buy it in regular money.
Hope that at least 3 of my suggestions were ok..

Just something that I noticed…it would be cool if the dolls were shown in some sort of flash player or whatever so that you can see the dolls on the iPad or the iPhone. There’s been so many times where I want to go on the website on my phone or on my iPad but I can’t really do anything because you can’t see any of the dolls. I don’t know if I’m the only one having that problem or if there’s even anything you can do, but just something to think about. Because I know I would go on a lot more if I could go on from my mobile device.

You should make it so that we can chat with each other in like worlds and stuff..also boy dolls so that we can date and stuff..MAKE SURE YOU BRING BACK HOT OR NOT.. and make fashion shows so that we can earn money for it…have some mini games so that we can earn money to buy items that we like and make it easy to earn money NO VIP! or if you do have vip make it affordable or even make it so that you can buy VIP with the virtual cash….but make it so that you can buy cash with real money to..just make it fun!

Holy. Okay so I thought I was over the whole “Dress-up” games. But when I found out Doll War was coming back. I was soo Siked! This was my childhood, I swear. So please, if you want to Improve it, take what we say to consoderation, because we are the ones that are gonna play it
So please, don’t have the whole VIP or Member thing. Because Honestly, I persnonally don’t have the money to pay for this kind of thing. And Ik many others would agree with me. Also, try not to make the site too diffrent. I swear, like the Hot or Not game is something Everbody loved on here. And it should totally be back.
So many of us played this a long time ago and will probably be the main ones back on here. So please try not to make it too childish
Okay, and one LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT THING I swear, if the theme color is Pink, Im out. We must stick to Purple, and NO OTHER.

I really liked the original version of Doll War! There was nothing wrong with it, besides that there were no guy characters. Other than adding the new gender, you shouldn’t change much and stick to what we had at the beginning

Hello i would like you to make games like photoshoot like gosupermodel game and that old game called POWER girl where the characters go into the game and choose the words flatter distract etc to make the other persons score lower and who ever wins gets gold. Also decorating house and able to meet people places and dance games

Holy crap. I was like legit 13 or so when I first joined the site. I’m now 18, and excited as ever for it to come back. Hahaha. Somethings never leave you, but seriously a DollWar App would be amazing! I AGREE with that completely!

When Dollwar was first shut down, I got so sad. And i’d log on to it once in a while hoping for a miracle to happen haha. Well. looks like it has. I was 12 when i first joined this. 19 now. Omg can’t believe its going to be back. But its been so many months since Aaron first posted this. I wonder how long it’s going to take. Anyway will keep checking. x

Cool idea, good luck topping dc, I’m obsessed with it lol to all those moaning about VIP and adverts, these people put in full time hours and to keep the basic game free they use VIP and the adverts to make money to live in the real world.

I was also one of the people who were 12 or so when the game was shut down and am 19 now. I come back and check every now and again, hoping it will be back soon. I used to love giving “makeovers” to people with budgets, etc. It was a really fun website. I’m a little dissappointed that it’s taking this long to get the website back up and running. Although, i don’t know much about that stuff so i can only imagine the amount of work that goes into something like that. I’m also curious as to why it shut down in the first place. Hopefully Dollwar will come back in 2013!

I agree with Morgan, all they did was hype up the website up making it seem like it was going to be up soon. I keep checking and still nothing…They need to hurry up and put the site back up. I just want the old site back I don’t care about any new features.

Ok. This blog was started over a year ago, and I’m ready for some DOLL WAR. If its not going to happen, please don’t lead people on. Just do it or don’t. I’d rather see it up and running. However, if there will be no launch then let us all know. Frankly, it’s a little frustrating. So, is there a definitive launch date or not? This was my favorite online game. It would be a shame to let it all go.
